It is with heartfelt sadness that we record the passing of Josh Baker, the young, talented Worcestershire spin bowler. Josh represented his County in the Championship match at Kidderminster only a few days before he passed away, aged 20. Josh played his early cricket at Astwood Bank CC and played in all the County age group teams and represented England U19's. Ashley Giles, the Worcestershire Chief Executive said, "The news of Josh's passing has left us all devastated. Josh was much more than a teammate, he was an integral part of our cricketing family. We will all miss him terribly." 

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Josh's family, his teammates and friends at the tragic loss of such a young life.
